European Champions of Journalist Tennis Players 2008
in Pörtschach (Austria)
Sixty journalists came from nine countries to celebrate the 20th Birthday of this international tournament which also included the 38 «Raiffeisen-Trophy» for Austrian journalists. It was held on clay courts in the Werzer Stadium – a magnificent tennis venue where Davis Cup matches are also played. The participants paid 45 Euro for the tournament and the evening programme, which included several lavish receptions and they were offered special rates in the resort's hotels.
